Widely detected: single photon imaging

Used for quantum imaging, biomedical imaging, astronomy, analyzing quantum light sources and material science, single photon imaging is needed within a lot of applications. Our broadband detector allows to view different sources without changing the detector and as for other fields, the sensitivity of the detectors is critical – putting our waveguide-integrated superconducting nanowire single photon detectors in a leading position for the use of single photon imaging.

Pushing efficiency and resolution for the bigger picture

Single photon imaging is an imaging technique that relies on detecting individual photons via very sensitive detectors. Since high efficiency and high timing resolution are key requirements for the process, SNSPDs come in handy and offer many advantages other detectors can’t provide.
